My friend Shannon and I went to a thrift store/consignment store today called 'Good Juju'. They hold their sale only one weekend a month and this was my second time going there. You never know what you will find - there are always some goodies there! And some goodies that I'm not willing to forck over the money for. One item, in particular, that I liked was the mirror in the dressing room that said 'Yes, you are the fairest of them all.'
So, here are a few shots from Good Juju - all taken with my p&s cam and with my lomo action applied to them.
A hot pink chandalier which very much reminds me of Val.
An old candy machine. I liked that it was a mirror with the words 'Fresh Candy' on it....I tried to get a self portrait in the mirror with 'fresh candy', but it didn't work out so well.
And last but not least, a very poorly shot picture of me late tonight....just wanted to show off the new hair cut - chopped off my long hair today! It doesn't look as good tonight as it did earlier today - my hair doesn't hold volume very well and it always ends up flat by the evening.
Here is my January 1st photo, or should I say photos? I'm bad at following rules...hehe...I couldn't decide which I liked better so I thought I would post both.
I used Pioneer Woman's Vintage action on both of these images.
Camera used: Canon Rebel xTi
